Final Thoughts – Taking The Next Step
Lesson 8
Congratulations, you finished!!
I want to thank you for taking part in my 7-Day Creative Photography Challenge. I hope you found the information helpful, and I hope you took the time to experiment and push yourself with the exercises each day.
Did you practice any of them on more than one subject?
Did you find yourself “seeing” those concepts during times when you didn’t have your camera?
When you were out shooting, did you find yourself composing with more than one of these creative tricks?
I’ll go one step further- did you notice that you used more than one of these ideas, but only while you were reviewing your images later?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then congratulations, it worked. You’ve already improved as a photographer. That’s exactly what I was trying to teach you.
Now that you’ve learned 7 new creative methods in your bag of tricks, you have the tools to expand your the photography in a big way. You can pull one out, and you can even mix and match, blending together two or more of these methods in order to create a truly dynamic and original image.
Even with just 7 new tricks at your disposal, you have a nearly endless number of ways you could combine them, and how you do this is what determines your “style.”
Remember, photography is a process, and improving just takes practice and perseverance. You’ve already come this far, and that’s pretty awesome. Keep going. Keep learning. And keep in touch.
Thanks again!!
