I’m so excited to release a brand new song today, called “Genevieve.” A rock and roll love song for the ages, I feel that this is the best song I’ve ever written and recorded.

A love song for the ages, my excitement for this track knows no bounds, and not only because I think that Genevieve is the most beautiful name, but because I feel this song perfectly captures my excitement for the real Genevieve… whoever she might be, if indeed she were to exist outside of my creative imagination.
Written and recorded after a long dry spell in my songwriting life, I feel that this is my own personal “lightning in a bottle” track, and, by far, the best song I’ve ever made.
I’m simply stunned at how well this song turned out in every way, from the music and lyrics, to my own guitar and vocal performances, to all of the production and mixing decisions I made along the way, including the guitar solos, which were all “first pass” single takes laid down on the initial demo recording.
After all, this is what I was trained to do at Berklee College of Music, so it’s really fun to be putting the ol’ degree to good use, especially since the world needs more love songs right now.
And that’s not all! I’ve got another two songs finished and in the queue, so watch for those to be released later this fall.
