I’m excited to announce my latest release, a brand new song called Interstellar Love Song. It’s now available for streaming and purchase on all of the major music sites, including Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Pandora and Tidal.
Although I’ve been pretty active with making original music shorts during the past few months, this is the first original, full-length song I’ve recorded since my Up Higher album release, which was one year ago this week.
I came up with the original keyboard riff last fall, and then worked out the basic lyrics for the rather catchy chorus during one of my weekly walks to PT for my shoulder. In the end, I’m so proud of how this song turned out, and as I mentioned in my previous post, I feel that this track represents some of my best songwriting, production techniques and singing to date.
I actually did a vocal course over the winter, and I’m very excited about how I’ve been able to expand the quality and power of my voice during the past year. It’s been a really satisfying transformation for me, and I feel like I’m starting to enter a new level of skill and confidence with my singing, and songwriting.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the song. I think it’s got real “hit” potential, (think Boston meets Pink Floyd), so feel free to share it with all of your friends and play it until the chorus is burned into your head!
