    Fantastic post!
    Very informative.
Can I add that if you’re looking for a tripod that is higher-end in quality, stability and lightweight.
I would go with a Secced tripod at http://www.secced.info
They offer a 3 year warranty on all they’re tripods.
Not that it’s needed since they’re tuff as nails.
I use the Cinekit 1 tripod bundle, it’s great for DSLR and SLR cameras.

  • I think theirs a mistake in your Title (Siuri). It is not Siuri, its Sirui.

Thanks Sara. Autocorrect never gets Siuri right. 😉

I have read you new book “Behind the Landscape.” I could not “put it down” meaning that I kept at it because each photo you presented/analyzed was interesting and informative. I am trying to develop an eye for composition (both the scene and the light).

Thank you! The examples you present and the suggestions are very helpful. Purple Mountains, McKinley River and Wonder Lake are fascinating.

You have done it again! Another triumph.

Your generosity to share, the clarity of thought and concise explanation thereof is brilliant. Perhaps I should also mention the beautiful photos and the talent necessary to produce them.

    Thank you, Dan.
